Approximately 90% of the people we serve need financial assistance to attend. Scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses in our community. To learn how you can help our youth & veterans, please visit our Get Involved page.
School is the largest challenge in Kiley's* life. With learning disabilities and anxiety, school is incredibly challenging and tiring. Friday at ANT has been such a bright spot to look forward to after the school week.
We have seen significant changes at school, in our family, and in Alex's* social skills since ANT. *Name changed
Ben* has become more patient and understanding. His whole way that he deals with issues has changed. No more outbursts, and yelling; he will now just go to his “safe” spot until he's cooled down. *Name changed
She has been more willing to talk about her feelings instead of storming off. She is willing to communicate effectively.
Between the Fall and Winter session, Alex* tested an entire grade level higher in both reading and math. This was over a 3 month period. Her anger, frustration, and distrust of adults has decreased significantly. She is more centered, in control of her body, breaths and thinks before acting. She is really at a turning point. *Name changed for privacy
She is so full of joy getting an opportunity to work and be with animals. She feels more herself and forgets about anxiety and accidents when she is with animals. I love getting the excited and delighted re-cap about her time at ANT and I hope she can continue. ANT has given [my daughter] confidence and pride in working with animals outside school.
I learned that I need to tell [my horse] what I need, not expect her to know.
It is a carefully seasoned experience, built to meet special needs in a very special (and effective) way. Everyone at ANT is working towards the goal of a better community, where people can improve their own lives. Amazing tools are cleverly employed, suffering is lovingly witnessed, and emotional health & improvement is bred in the bone.
